The Pokémon Company has officially announced that the new Pokémon Clefairy and Clefable are currently scheduled to join Pokémon Unite on October 13, 2022. It joins a long line of new characters for the title, most recently on September 2 alongside Mew as well as Dodrio and Scizor, which are scheduled to be introduced to the game on September 14 and 28, respectively. The pair will be available in Pokémon Unite starting October 13th.
The Clefable evolves from the Clefairy, which in turn evolves from the cleft. While these are currently of the Fairy type, Pokémon were of the Normal type when first introduced back in Generation 1. And the switch was eventually made in Generation 6.
The announcement comes from the trailer posted by the company on various social media platforms as well as YouTube.
Also, the developer said on the game’s official Twitter account, “Harness the power of the moon, when the Fairy Pokémon Clefairy and Clefable come to Pokémon UNITE on October 13!“
