The 5th anniversary of the multiplayer battle royale game Free Fire started a few days back, where players are getting lots of rewards through events. And with collaborations, events, and new content, such as new battles, exciting modes, and much more.
Along with this, Garena is also going to introduce a new map for the players called “Nexterra“, which will be one of the main attractions. This will be unique and more exciting than the existing maps: Bermuda, Purgatory, Kalahari, Bermuda Remastered, and Alpine.

Release Date
As per the calendar unveiled by Garena, the Nexterra Maps map will make its way into the game on August 20. The Nexterra map is expected to be exciting as it will replace the standard play style.
Locations
This map will be full of advanced technologies, exciting locations, and territory. Also, players will be able to find some high-tech building houses and more. Here are the various locations that will be available on this latest map:
- Zipway
- Mud Site
- Deca Square
- Plazaria
- Intellect Center
- Twin Bridge
- Mortar Ruins
- Rust Town
- Museum
- Farmtopia
- Grav Labs
- Turbine
Unique Mechanics
The map also includes some unique mechanics, such as:
- Anti-Gravity Zones: These will be areas where players can jump high, fire in the air and more.
- Magic Portals: Using these portals, players can travel to different locations on the map. And as announced, there will be a total of 4 portals designed to attack, encircle enemies, and move around.

In addition to the Nexterra map, Garena will also bring two new game modes as part of Free Fire’s 5th anniversary celebration, including:
- Droid Apocalypse: In this mode, 12 players will go face-to-face, where they will initially have to choose their type of droid and are tasked with transforming as many humans as possible. The conversion will give them points, and after three rounds, the ones with the highest totals will get Booyah.
- Free for All: This mode will have 16 users facing each other. And they will be given the ability to select the desired weapons, with which to eliminate other individuals in order to gain points. And the match will reach its conclusion once the user reaches a predetermined number of points.
How to Download
Players can enjoy the game and the magical world by downloading the exclusive pack of this Nexterra map from the Download Center. However, as of August 20th, in exchange for downloading the map’s specific pack, players will also receive Incubator Voucher as a reward.
