Genshin Impact usually releases a new character at the same time as a new game version, and given the delay of Genshin Impact version 2.7, the fanbase did not expect a new name to be announced so soon. There’s also no update as to when Genshin Impact 2.7 will be playable, and HoYoverse decided to surprise everyone by keeping the hype alive by dropping a new drip marketing called new Genshin Impact character “Shikanoin Heizou”.
In a new tweet, Shikanoin Heizou has been officially confirmed as the next playable character from Genshin Impact, which will be released after Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Since Yelan and Kuki Shinobu were announced for version 2.7, players can expect the Shikanoin Heizou in Genshin Impact to become available during the 2.8 patch, a currently unknown release due to the delay of version 2.7.
His rarity is not mentioned in the character’s announcement, but an early leak suggests that it is highly likely that new Genshin Impact character Shikanoin Heizou is going to be the first male character who will be a 4-star Animo character. And the most exciting thing about Hezhou’s announcement is that he fits into a catalyst role that’s long been desired, one whose gender, weaponry, and a combination of elements make him quite a distinctive character.
According to both official revelations and leaks, Heizou is the first pair of Genshin Impact.
